Invisible Pink Dragon

Hello lovely television people!

Like a lot of people who blog in their spare time, I have to fit the writing in around other commitments. Over the last year, these commitments have gotten a little overwhelming (the pandemic certainly isn’t helping any).

While I usually find writing a stress outlet, it’s lately become a stressor instead. I don’t think I’m the only person who has found the last two years deeply exhausting in a fundamental way that I almost can’t express. Our need to keep going and maintain a patina of normality in abnormal times is in itself exhausting.

So I think it’s time for me to take a short break and refocus on other things. Hopefully when I come back in April I’ll be refreshed and rejuvenated and ready to finish my draft blogs and even respond to some prompts!

Keep well, all. It’s a difficult and stressful time for everyone. Be good to each other but also be good to yourselves. We’ll get through this. But we have to put on our own oxygen mask first.
